After some sensory tests on 19 types of ground coffee and roasted sealed manufacturers, experts and expertise Goods Research Center Food in the Department of commodities and Quality Management (Academy of Economic Studies), could establish a top ten more flavorful coffees available on the Romanian market. After testing and analyzing samples, Nova Brasilia Select, Tchibo Mocca, Tchibo Exclusive Elite Selected and were designated as having the most pronounced flavors and tastes, they represent the best choice for a consumer. However, in all samples analyzed, none rose to the maximum five-star rating.

The market study was commissioned by the Consumer Protection Association (CPA) Romania. Coffee drinks obtained were ten tasters tasted experts who analyzed the taste, flavor and smell. They checked intensity of these parameters and conducted a qualitative hierarchy of evidence, expressed by quality / price ratio. According to this report per 100 grams of product samples were sequenced and depending on price at the time. Being the cheapest of the four ranked first, Nova Brasilia Select occupied the highest position overall quality at the lowest price, being billed as the „best shopping”.
Arabica best
Is obtained by processing the coffee Coffea tree seeds, which grow in tropical countries. There are many species of coffee plants, but of them Coffea arabica, Coffea robusta and Coffea Iberian have economic value and are cultivated in plantations. Arabica coffee is considered superior to other types. Most valuable varieties of arabica coffee are Mocca, with its small beans, hard and round and with a very pronounced flavor and variety Bourbon, with sharp grain that comes from Reunion Island. The name Coffee arabica coffee cultivated means Brasilia in Brazil, and the name Milds coffee – arabica coffee from other countries.

Flavor substances obtained from 40
Aroma coffee is one of the most important characteristics. According to experts from the Center for Research and Expertise Goods Food, contributing to the formation of over 40 coffee aroma substances existing in or formed by roasting raw coffee. Flavor can vary from batch to batch and is given in the first place, the variety of which are coffee trees, how they were cared for, the culture conditions, grain quality, soil and the characteristics of Geographic. Aroma is kept hard, every manufacturing company has its own manufacturing intelligence, which refers to the selection of certain varieties grown in climatic conditions and keeping a relation between them. Firms producing coffee intense efforts both to select varieties, as well as maintain complex consists of aromatic and other volatile cafeol to achieve consistent quality and controlled flavor, aroma and taste.

Cele mai aromate cafele

In urma unor teste senzoriale pe 19 tipuri de cafea macinata si prajita, sigilata de producatori, expertii Centrului de Cercetari si Expertize Marfuri Alimentare, din cadrul Catedrei de Merceologie si Managementul Calitatii (Academia de Studii Economice Bucuresti), au putut stabili un top al celor mai aromate tipuri de cafea existente pe piata romaneasca. Dupa testarea si analizarea probelor, Nova Brasilia Select, Tchibo Mocca, Elita Selected si Tchibo Exclusive au fost desemnate ca avand cele mai pronuntate arome si gusturi, acestea reprezentand cea mai buna alegere pentru un consumator. Totusi, din toate probele analizate, nici una nu s-a ridicat la calificarea maxima de cinci stele.

Studiul de piata a fost comandat de Asociatia pentru Protectia Consumatorilor (APC) Romania. Bauturile de cafea obtinute au fost degustate de zece degustatori experti care au analizat gustul, aroma si mirosul. Ei au verificat intensitatea acestor parametri si au efectuat o ierarhizare calitativa a probelor, exprimata si prin raportul calitate/pret. In functie de acest raport per 100 grame de produs, probele au fost ordonate si in functie de pretul de la data respectiva. Fiind cea mai ieftina dintre cele patru clasate pe locul intai, Nova Brasilia Select a ocupat pozitia cea mai inalta a calitatii de ansamblu la pretul cel mai mic, fiind catalogata drept „cea mai buna cumparatura”.


Arabica, cea mai buna
Cafeaua se obtine prin prelucarea semintelor arborelui Coffea, care creste in tarile tropicale. Exista multe specii de arbori de cafea, dar dintre ele Coffea arabica, Coffea robusta si Coffea iberica au valoare economica si sunt cultivate in plantatii. Cafeaua arabica este considerata de calitate superioara fata de alte tipuri. Varietatile cele mai valoroase de cafea arabica sunt Mocca, cu boabele sale mici, dure si rotunde si cu o aroma foarte pronuntata si varietatea Bourbon, cu boabele ascutite, care provine din Insulele Reunion. Prin denumirea Cafea de Brasilia se intelege cafeaua arabica cultivata in Brazilia, iar prin denumirea Cafea Milds – cafeaua arabica provenita din alte tari.

Aroma, obtinuta din peste 40 de substante
Aroma cafelei este una din cele mai importante insusiri. Conform expertilor de la Centrul de Cercetari si Expertize Marfuri Alimentare, la formarea aromei cafelei contribuie peste 40 de substante existente in cafeaua cruda sau formate prin prajire. Aroma poate varia de la un lot la altul si este data, in primul rand, de varietatea din care fac parte arborii de cafea, de modul in care au fost ingrijiti, de conditiile de cultura, de calitatea boabelor, a solului si de caracteristicile zonelor geografice. Aroma se pastreaza greu, fiecare firma producatoare avand propriile secrete de fabricatie, care se refera la selectarea anumitor varietati crescute in conditii climatice speciale si pastrarea unui raport intre acestea. Firmele producatoare de cafea depun eforturi intense atat in a selecta soiurile, cat si in a mentine complexul aromatic compus din cafeol si alte substante volatile, pentru a obtine o calitate constanta si controlata a izului, aromei si gustului.

Recunosc ca am ramas putin socat,gandindu-ma la ce ar putea contine cafeaua aia daca tot e dedicata „vampirilor” (sic) !!! Imi imaginez un Vlad Tepes,stand picior peste picior cu cafeaua in mana,si tinand degetelul cel mic de la mana in care tine ceasca ridicat (lol)……. Voi ce parere aveti???

Starbucks in central istoric al Seulului, cartierul Insadong


Se pare ca Insadong este un cartier puternic impregnat de traditii coreene, asa ca oamenii au fost nefericiti atunci cand capitalismul american i-a invadat. Ca niciodata, Starbucks a facut unele schimbari cafenelei: modificarea logo-ului intr-unul scris cu litere coreene, schimbarea designului exterior pentru a-i da o infatisare mult mai apropiata de ale celeorlalte cafenele din zona respectiva si nu in ultimul rand, uniformele angajatilor.

De 40 de ani, Starbucks ofera americanilor bauturi de tip espresso. Cu toate acestea, cand gigantul din Seattle a deschis o cafenea in Orasul Interzis, multi chinezi au simtit ca brandul nu are ce cauta in fosta resedinta a imparatilor din dinastia Qin.

Managerii Orasului Interzis din China au invitat lantul Starbucks sa deschida un magazin in 2000 si, timp de sase ani, cafeneaua a functionat fara niciun fel de probleme. In 2007,insa, personalitatea televiziunii chineze Ruy Chenggan a condus o miscare populara ce cerea inchiderea cafenelei pe motivul ca aceasta era asociata cu clasa de mijloc in cultura occidentala. Starbucks a inchis atunci cafeneaua din Orasul Interzis, iar fosta resedinta imperiala si-a recastigat demnitatea… sau nu.
